Baby back ribs slathered in a simple glaze made with pure maple balsamic that is loaded with herbs and spices is a great addition to your dinner plans. These ribs are tender and delicious and so easy to grill.

Grilling Instructions:

  • Preheat grill to 300 degrees
  • Coat ribs with small amount of Bella's Blend and coat with seasonings of choice.
  • Place ribs on indirect heat for 30 minutes.
  • While ribs are grilling, make bourbon glaze
  • Sweat minced onion in 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil over low heat until translucent and cooked, but not browned.
  • Add balsamic vinegars and cook three minutes until slightly reduced.
  • Add tomato sauce, 1/4 cup ketchup, lime juice, and mustard.
  • Stir to combine well.
  • Stir in brown sugar and garlic powder and continue cooking over low heat for 10 min.
  • Glaze ribs and flip, cook another 30 minutes.
  • Repeat about every 20 minutes.
  • Cook ribs until they read 190 degrees.  Remember low and slow will produce the most tender meat.
  • Slather with additional glaze
  • Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Cut into 2 to 3 rib portions and serve.

HELPFUL HINT:  I like to stack my ribs on top of each other and rotate them every 30 minutes.  They seem to stay juicier and cook a little more evenly.
