Umeboshi plum vinegar is extremely tart, fruity, and intensely salty with a subtle herbal note from the shiso leaf. It is ideal for salad dressings, drizzling over steamed or pickled vegetables, marinades, dips, and adding depth to soups. Due to the vinegar being very salty, it is best to reduce or eliminate added salt in recipes when using this vinegar.
